WBU Director on the Lectures Tour in US Campuses

On April 18, 2016, by invitation from the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Languages and Studies, Temple University, Philadelphia, U.S.A., his alma mater, Dr. Tavivat Puntarigvivat, the WBU Director of Institute of Research and Development, gave a lecture on the topic “Confucianism and Buddhism : Theory of Human Nature”, at the University. Prior to his lecture at Temple University, Dr. Puntarigvivat gave a lecture on “Buddhist Views of Human Nature”, at Harem Clemente, the Children’s Village-Bard College Course in Humanities in New York on April 14, 2016.

On the same trip, Dr. Puntarigvivat was invited by the Center for Mindfulness and Insight Meditation, a charitable organization based in Massachusetts U.S.A., to give lectures on “Dynamic meditation Teaching of Luangpor Teean” and “the Role of Meditation Practice in the Contemporary World” at several centers for Meditation in Connecticut and Massachusetts, U.S.A..

Dr. Tavivat Puntarigvivat presented a gift from the World Buddhist University to Dr. David Kittay, Philosophy Professor, at Columbia University in New York on April 14, 2016.
