The Practical meaning of Strangification and Constructive Realism


The World Buddhist University in conjunction with Thammasat University, Thailand, held the International Conference on Buddhist Ethics and Theory of Knowledge: The Practical meaning of Strangification and Constructive Realism, at the College of Innovation, Thammasat University, Pattaya, Thailand on February 19th-21st , B.E. 2558 (2015).

Joining the conference as speakers were Dr. Friedrich Wallner from Vienna University, Austria, Dr. Koji Nakatogawa, Hokkaido University, Japan. Dr. Guenther Hanzl M.D., Germany and Dr. Nicole Holzenthal, Intersophia, University of Oviedo, Spain.

Representing the WBU were Dr. Pataraporn Sirikanchana, Dr. Tavivat Puntarigvivat, Dr. Banjob Bannaruji and Dr. Sithichoke Waranusantikule.

Presenting a paper and representing Thammasat University was Dr. Sumalee Mahanarongchai.

Also participating in the three-day conference were Dr. Thanes Sujarikul from World Fellowship of Buddhists, Mrs. Supisara Buangam, a representative of the National Office of Buddhism, and academic scholars from Thailand Universities and aboard.
